Concrete lintels are used to suit brickwork & can be easily rendered, lined with plasterboard & external sheeting. They are much more durable than steel lintels, ideal for use in extreme corrosive environments such as coastal locations. The load carring capacity of Concrete Lintels increases signaficantlly when the composite beam action from the brickwork on top is taken into account. The composite strength increases as the number of brick courses above rises.

     •  Pre-Stressed High Strength Concrete 65MPa

     •  Must be propped at intervals not exceeding 1500mm until mortar has matured

     •  Must be placed with rough side facing up in order to proved a proper key into the mortar above.

     •  Minimum bearing onto brickwork is 100mm (spans up to 1200mm) & 150mm (spans up to 1200mm). Based on brick crushing strength of 20MPa.

     •  45kg per metre
